To my studio website! Graduated from Shanghai Conservatory of Music and University of Minnesota, I have built my reputation both as a concert pianist and a piano teacher. In addition to serve as an Assistant Professor in Piano at Bethel University, performing regularly as a soloist and in chamber music concerts, I maintain a full-scheduled private studio teaching students of all ages and levels in three locations (St. Paul, Blaine, Eden Prairie). I am a member of both Music Teacher National Association and Minnesota Music Teacher Association. I prepare students for piano exams, competitions and festivals and expose them to more performance opportunities. It is these opportunities that help them to improve their skills to a higher level and develop artistry. My students are actively engaged in the music events in the twin cities and some of them have won top prizes at major competitions. With more than 15 years of teaching experience, I feel I have the luckiest job in the world. Music uplifts, inspires and cleanses the human being soul, and its poetic sentiment and supernal beauty communicate with our very being. I live through every day and teach to my students with all what I have experienced in this powerful and sophisticated language. I believe that regardless of students who study piano as a profession or as a hobby, employing the right method is the key for the best result.

"Through music a child enters a world of beauty, expresses her inmost self, tastes the joy of creating, widens his sympathies, develops her mind, soothes and refines his spirit, and adds grace to her body"
